Marie and Ole ISAACSON / ISAKSEN came to the United States in 1908 with their three children, and settled in St. John, North Dakota. They had other family in surrounding areas, but know that the children went to a St. John School. Ole was a builder, probably a farmer too. The family later moved to Minnesota. Looking for brothers of Ole. (Louis, Carl (found), Isaac, Jens, and Lars.) Also looking for half-brothers (Nels, Alf, and Martin (found)).

I'm searching for information on my great-grandfather, Paul UGSTAD, who homesteaded in Rolette County, ND around 1880. He died around 1889? He was married to Anetta ODDEGARD. They were both born in Norway, then immigrated to the US, settling in Otter Tail County, MN before moving to Rolette County, ND. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Peter Olof JUNSO and Hannah Elizabeth HANSON JUNSO came to Rolla, ND before June, 1898 to homestead land. Their first child, Anna Elaine JUNSO was born 5 Jun. 1898 in Rolla. Looking for homesteading records on Peter and Hannah, my grandparents. They left only one year later to return to South Dakota. Kind Regards.

Looking for information on the LATRACE family who lived in Turtle Mountain, Rolette Co, ND in the late 1800s to early 1900s. George Nelson LATRACE married Lissette McDONALD (born in Wild Rice, MN) and had 14 children. At the turn of this century this family moved to West Bend, Saskatchewan.

I am researching THORNBY and CHERRY. Olaf THORNBY donated an acre of land from his original homestead to build a school which became known as the Thornby school. Which I was told is about 15 miles outside of St. John. I am also looking for information on Mary Jane CHERRY who died in St. John 14 Dec1928.

I believe my great grandmother was born in Dakota Territory, in the county of Rolette in 1870 Her name was Marie Hortense GARON. I am looking for any information on her or her parents. She may or may not of been native, but the timing on the family moving to Canada may indicate she was native. If you have any information on the GARON family or where I might find researsh material I would greatly appreciate the help. Researching GRENIER family. My wife was born in Rollette, ND 26 Sept 1936 to Adrian Francois GRENIER b/17 Oct 1906 in Thorne and Wanda MCAFEE b/May 1914 in Rollette. My wife and her sister were raised in foster homes as was one of her brothers, although different homes and One brother was adopted after her parents split up. Many cousins and uncles in the area but we are looking for information on Adrian's parents and any information on Wanda as to living or dead, re-married ???????. Adrian's sister Henrietta married Albert Joseph CASAVANT and we have quite a history on his side. Any help on the GRENIER side will be greatly appreciated.
